Philistinosaus Agrigent das Wohlwollenzeigt, das er gegenüberden Athenern hegt, in Engagementund Tat, damit ohneSchaden das Getreide nachAthen kommt: dass man ihn belobigewegen seines Wohlwollens gegenüber demVolk der Athener; dass erProxenos und Wohltäter,er selbst und die Nachkommen,des Volkes der Athener sei; und dassihm das Recht auf (Land-)Erwerb sei; dass diesenBeschluss aufzeichne auf einesteinerne Stele der Sekretär, der währendder Prytanien amtiert, und aufstelle aufdie Akropolis; dass für die Aufzeichnungauf die Stele der Schatzmeister desVolkes 30 Drachmengebe aus demDekret-Fondsdes Volkes; dass man Sopatrosauch zum Festbankett lade in das Prytaneionfür morgen, und ihm einen Ehrensitzzuteile der Bausachverständigebei den Dionysien.

Lykourgosson of Lykophron of Boutadai proposed:concerning what the Council has proposedthat the People shall resolve:since Sopatros son of Philistionof Akragas displaysthe good will which he hastowards the Athenians, actingto ensure that thegreatest abundance of grain is broughtto Athens, to praise himfor his good will towards theAthenian People; and he shall beproxenos and benefactor,himself and his descendants,of the Athenian People; and he shall haveright of ownership; and the prytany secretaryshall inscribe this decreeon a stone steleand stand it onthe acropolis; and for inscribingthe stele the treasurerof the People shall give 30drachmas from the People’sfund for expenditure ondecrees; and to invite Sopatrosto hospitality in the city halltomorrow; and the theatremanager shall assign him a seatat the Dionysia.
